I was born in Philadelphia and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve been sailing my whole life in one form or another. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Portland State University. After working as a Graphic Designer for Grenade LLC, designing snowboarding apparel, I left to pursue a job where I could combine my passions. I found just that at Willamette Sailing Club and West Coast Sailing. In both of these positions I merged my design skills with my love for sailing. At the age of 25 I bought a 35 foot sailboat and sailed from Portland, down the coast, to Mexico. I then traveled the US, in an ‘84 Toyota Van, hiking & exploring. I moved back to Portland and began working for Yakima. After 2.5 years my fiancé and I bought an RV and traveled the US before returning to Mexico to sail on our boat. I’ve continued to work while traveling. The culture, experiences, and wisdom gained through my travels are irreplaceable. I’m ready to put this new knowledge to use.
